Hair Wall was produced during my investigations into chronobiology which examines the cyclic and periodic phenomena in living organisms. I was attracted to the hair and it’s follicle primarily for its strange appearance when magnified and isolated. With earlier prototypes, I envisioned a single hair growing up and out of something small, like a box. Later iterations saw me constructing walls to have hair growing out and down, possibly coiling in a seemingly neverending pile.
